Bonnie Sharf
After being 5 months at hospital, Bonnie Sharf curved her way to complete healing from a rare autoimmune disease which robbed many her daily functions. Inspite the natural anxious thoughts she trained her brain to heal the body. such a beautiful and inspiring healing testimonial is waiting for you here. dont miss this.
At 52 years old, I was living a very healthy life overall. I never had any limitations with any part of my body or function. At first, all I noticed was that my feet would feel cold all the time. I remember saying to my husband that my feet were cold constantly and that was not normal. I scheduled a doctor appt (which was a couple of weeks away) and over those couple of week, I started noticing more symptoms. I noticed my legs felt stiff and heavy when I walked. And then I started noticing that my balance was off. There was one time when I was just standing still and felt like I was about to fall and had to hold onto my husband who was standing right there. Then I was looking for something in my closet and I crouched down to pick something up from the floor and when I tried to stand up, I fell. I was very glad my doctor appointment was the very next day after this occurrence!
At my doctor appt, after he examined me, he told me that he suspected I had Guillian Barre Syndrome and he instructed me to go straight to the ER. We left and went home to pick up some clothes, toiletries and went to the ER. They wound up doing a lumbar puncture and MRI which were both consistent with GBS and I was admitted. As I was getting into my hospital gown, I used the bathroom and when I tried to stand up from the toilet, I fell. The nurse came and helped me up and from that point forward, I was labeled a "fall risk" and was not allowed to get out of my bed by myself. From that point forward, the neuropathy in my feet and my legs increased and it extended to my genitals. I felt tingling in my lips and my face and my lips were constantly dry. My feet's feeling of coldness increased so that if at any point they weren't covered w/ socks or a blanket, they felt like ice cubes!!
I tried changing my diet by sticking to the Wahl's Protocol for a full month while I was in the hospital (which isn't easy w/ the limited options that were available) but I cut out all sugar, gluten, dairy, alcohol from my diet and added foods like seaweed and kombucha. I also started taking 10K mg of Vitamin D daily.
Each time I relapsed and had to return to the hospital (which was 6 times total), was extremely frightful and upsetting. After 8 weeks of relapses, they changed the diagnosis to CIDP which is a chronic condition for which the prognosis is not good. They continued to tell me that there is no cure for this I may need to be reliant on a walker or wheelchair for the rest of my life as well as medications or treatments, each with their own negative and serious side effects
During my back and forth in the hospital, I was introduced to Dr Joe Dispenza's work and I immediately knew that I was living in a fearful and worried state of being that caused stress on my body. I immersed myself in that work and taught myself how to change who I have been being as I changed my thoughts and feelings that creates the vibration in which I live. I still continued to relapse but I didn't give up on the work and after 5 months of practically living in the hospital, I finally was able to stay home. From that point forward, I noticed progressive improvement in my body's ability and within 6 months, I no longer needed the IV treatments I was receiving each month and am now back to my full pre-illness condition!
I knew I was healed when I stopped doing my monthly IV treatments and I remained fully functioning. today i run workshops called Reinvent Yourself With Bonnie which guide other fellow sufferes to their highest self in body, mind & spirit
I did experience excruciating back pain at the very beginning. The pain from all of the blood draws and IV insertions was something I had to learn how to withstand and I did so by putting my mind on something else and practicially "living in that moment" in my mind rather than the experience in my 3D reality.
The best technique is to get good at being in the present moment. Practicing this every day through meditation is so important yet many people talk themselves out of it saying they're not good at it, which is true for everyone at the beginning. Meditation is so important because we are so used to being so caught up in our thoughts and never fully even being present in our lives. We also have identified ourselves with our thoughts when we actually exist separate from them. When we train ourselves to get in touch with our true selves, our soul, and no longer define ourselves by our thoughts, we are accessing the power of our Divine nature to unleash our greatness that exists within each and every one of us.
My first tip would be to stop identifying yourself with your disease and stop believing "the story" if you've been told there's no cure. My second tip would be to find someone who you resonate with to help you to see your blind spots that keep you living in the same energy as the one that is a match for your condition. And my third tip is to develop your belief that you can heal yourself and the commitment to do the work each and every day!
